I believe the deadline was four days ago, so it's likely too early to hear back yet. It may take at least 1-2 weeks minimum. Then again, I'm not sure how ADC recruiting works -- I'm much more familiar with undergrad and MBA.
If you want to be a consultant, you should be able to ballpark an answer your own question.
If the deadline was Sunday, that means the recruiting people didn't even really start looking at resumes until Monday. They have to screen resumes (and resumes actually get screened twice, a rough cut by the recruiting team and then a more detailed screen by consulting staff). Then they have to schedule interviews. There are multiple rounds.
How long must all that take? A lot longer than four days, certainly.
I'm not trying to be a jerk about it, I'm serious. If you ask a question like this to your manager they will tear you up. You are expected to have tried to figure out the answer before you ask.
Alright. I called them this morning and got a no on my application. I guess if you did not receive an interview invitation, it is highly possibly a silent rejection.
SF interview date is September 12th. Interviews were given out 10 days after the the application deadline in August. If you haven't heard back then more than likely you were not invited to interview.

Point taken. I didn't think of the interview scheduling part. I suppose that resume screening is fast.
I think it's gonna take around 2 weeks to hear from them. Based on the speed of McK, the deadline is July 20 and I heard from them on Aug 5th.
i received my app status update through email this past week
what exactly do you mean by "status update"? were you notified of an interview?
yes, i got an email about interviewing and i know others that got emails whether they got interviews or not. sorry, i should have been more precise.
Got email from BCG for 1st round interview
Nice. When did you get it?
Also, which office are you guys referring to?
mid-atlantic
Did you all apply for mid-Atlantic offices (not your current area)? Did anyone who applied to mid-west/south offices hear back yet?
i applied from the mid-atlantic region and to a mid-atlantic office
Thanks a lot for the info
I applied from the midwest to midwest offices and haven't heard anything. The mid-atlantic offices may just be moving faster
Anyone heard from the west coast?
I haven't heard back from the West Coast.
South started interviewing
Hmm, I haven't heard anything still. Kind of annoying to not get a "thanks, but no thanks" email. But I guess that's the way it goes.
me neither. Not even a reply from the recruiter.

just got a rejection email
