What sort of experience is useful for consulting SA positions?
SA positions for consulting firms have opened up recently and so I’m wondering what sort of experience is most related/desired by consulting firms. Is it just other finance related experience and if so what kinds. I’m quite interested in jobs which involve looking at the interactions of policy and economics/finance like think tanks and was wondering if experience like that is relevant or looked at favourably. Can seem to find loads of answers to this question for IB but nothing for Consulting.
