Starting in a corporate development rotation- resources to develop knowledge prior to starting

I am currently in a FLDP and have the opportunity to do a rotation in corporate development- M&A next May. My previous rotations have been in FP&A and I had studied accounting in school, therefore I have no experience or knowledge about M&A. I am hoping that when I start my rotation in 7 months that I will be able to have a running start. What are some resources that is recommended to develop knowledge in M&A and to understand the whole process...etc I know I can do a Google search on this- however I would love to know the resources that have been valuable to you, and ones that have stand out to you
