Citi ICM Transaction Management
Received an offer from Citi for Transaction Management. I am currently working at a smaller commercial bank as a credit analyst, so I plan to accept the offer since Citi will look much better on my resume and will likely provide better experience and exit opportunities. Has anyone heard of TM at Citi? Is it easy to make a lateral move within a bank the size of Citi and what would will the exit opportunities look like?

I wouldn t recommend. You won t do credit etc. The team is basically an operational team that helps with making sure docs are signed, loans booked properly etc
I do think you are right in the aspect of not necessarily doing credit. I am currently doing credit but I am working at a tiny ($500MM asset) bank with absolutely no training and no room for growth. Wouldn't Citi at least give me good exit opportunities or lateral transition opportunities if I work hard in TM?
