Joining a Start Up ABL Fund
Have the opportunity to join a relatively new and niche ABL fund that is only a couple of years old and has ~5 employees. Currently raising a fund of ~$250 million, but they are part of a much larger management company that has been around for ~50 years and is very well respected in the industry.
Has anyone taken a similar role at a newer fund? If so, were you offered any economics in the fund/were you able to negotiate for anything? It seems like a really cool gig, but are there any risks (outside of the obvious ones) I should be aware of when joining a newer fund?
