Opportunistic HY Credit Case Study - Covenant Analysis

Working on a multi-week case study for an opportunistic credit with a relatively complex capital structure.

Curious what is recommended for summarizing and analyzing covenants?

Major pitfall is that I only have access to Capital IQ and Bloomberg at the moment. I notice from time to time that indentures are attached to some of the 10Qs, presumably as a result of revisions. Presumably I will need to go through those and hope that I am reviewing the latest version?

Not sure what is the point of this exercise given that everyone uses third-party venders.
