Plus you can't put it in your pocket, which is apparently important to the septugenarian libertarian hero. I like him but he didn't really answer the gold question properly. Just went on and on about the dollar...
I saw this yesterday and was proud. He still doesn't understand the true function of currency though as a tool for international competition. But he at least backs his points with historical evidence.
If more politicians defended their points with this level of zeal it would at least make for a house that appeared to be in good order.
