Best Masters Programs for ER

I was wondering if anyone could give thoughts on what masters programs would be most respected or most useful for going into ER. Every other forum about masters is directed at IB, so I was wondering if anyone thought there was any major difference in the path you can take. I believe that the most obvious choice would be a top tier MSF program, but I also feel like a Business Analytics or Economics degree may actually be more useful (while also taking the CFA exams on the side).

To give a little background I am from a small semi-target with not a lot of name recognition. Somehow I ended up with a SA role at a BB this summer. One of the main reasons I want to pursue a masters is because I am an athlete with additional eligibility to compete a 5th year, but I also think getting a better brand name school on my resume could help me in the future. Any tips or advice are really appreciated!

Also would be curious to know if anyone has any insight on possibly deferring a FT offer to pursue a masters? Is this even a possibility? Thanks.
