Run a search, there have been several threads on this. The main concern is the firm's AuM has collapsed from >$100bn before the GFC to $20bn today. Their performance numbers are also horrible over most time periods. The culture is good, and living in San Diego is great, but there is a real risk this firm isn't around in 5 years. Historically it's been a good training ground to get into the industry, but their reputation is nowhere near what it used to be.
