CFA Level 1 To Enter Healthcare ER?

Hi all,

I recently started working as a data analyst at a healthcare company. I am enjoying it and am happy with the TC (~90k). However, I want to learn what I should do outside of work to continue growing my career.

Healthcare equity research sounds very interesting. I’m wondering if passing the CFA level 1 will help me get interviews down the line. I’ve briefly read through some CFA content and certainly find the material worth studying.

The other route I’m considering is a a masters in analytics or stats. Would this be the better option?

I’m 25 and went to a semi target for econ with a 3.0 gpa. I’m interested in business school a few years down the road.
