Im trying to move into the leveraged loans space. Does anyone have any credit research reports specifically done on non investment grade companies? Investment grade credit research would be fine as well. If anyone can help out that would be tremendous! thanks.
leveraged loan research is nothing like investment grade research... leveraged lending is nothing like investment grade lending... investment grade lending (read DCM) is pretty much a joke...

they're rare... leveraged loans are sold either on a primary basis (at close) or runs are send by loan traders and picked up by investors / funds... when the name/price combo looks attractive, then the distressed or senior fund will call up the trader and execute an NDA in order to diligence the name (only done if they're sure they wont touch HY debt if there is any trading)... you maybe able to find HY bond reseach but that's rare as well....

Does anybody have advice as to where I can access professional reports/papers pertaining to HY corporate credit? I want to get a feel for how sell-side research is written and what factors are taken into account. Currently feeling out what I want to pursue in the future and curious as to what life is like on the sell-side.
Also, I need something to talk about with girls at bars and feel this would do the trick.

Hey guys-
I'm trying to get a better idea of what's expected of an analyst, and I'm hoping to start off with a HY credit research report.
Are these allowed to be released? If someone wouldn't mind, could I get a copy (old or new idea, as long as the structure and modeling used are current and common)?
