ER Assoc. at Piper Jaffray? Salary/Bonus Numbers not clear.....

What would be the salary and bonus be like at piper jaffray as an equity research associate?

Bear in mind, I do have 4 applicable years of industry experience, and I already make good money (a little over 70).

I saw a number in the 75-100 range via the recruiter's website, but I could not figure out whether that uncluded a bonus or not.

Let me know your take on it....

thx.

Okay, let me ask this differently.....

Would you hazard that the ER associate position was

1) $70-100 all inclusive

or

2) $75-100 plus a bonus - any idea what the bonus # might be?

Thank you!

This is sort of what I figured.

What about the fact that I have been working in the industry as an energy analyst for a major chem corp. for 5 years though.....still entry level??

you are probably looking at 75-100k all inclusive, and even this is fairly generous for equity research numbers. Keep in mind, however, that Piper is in Minneapolis and that kind of money takes you a hell of a lot longer than it would in NYC.

Well, the position is in NYC, so that's why I had hoped that it might be higher.

That would be lovely though, perhaps one could burn money to keep warm! (Kidding!)
