I am currently in IT at BB but want to make it into ER.
I would like to hear your comments about my resume(attached). Be honest and Be Brutal :)
P.S. I have not elaborated my IT work because thats useless to the job

Perhaps put IT work experience below the other stuff? Dont know since I am new too
I would keep CFA at the top since to maintain the chronological order consistency in the resume.

I would say it's quite good now. Would probably call you out on the project experience stuff (I see you're in to natural resources), so make sure you can talk about those experiences in sufficient detail. Engineering major is fine by the way as well, very well respected degree and can even prove handy if going in to something like M&M.
No programming languages? Not even matlab?
Why would I discuss programming languages? I have done programming but if I am applying for ER jobs, I dont see how that will help. Any particular reason you asked?
You don't know how computing languages would help? Kidding right?
I talked to a number of ER analysts when networking and never heard anyone say Matlab was useful. My knowledge of C, C# is not at a level that I would want someone to grill me on during an interview.
I would keep the CFA thing at the top.

If I remove CFA at the top and president at the bottom, I dont get how that helps?
Having CFA Level 2 Candidate is supposed to be an indicator of interest and the same thing with the club president at school. I don't want to sound desperate but I want to show that I have a genuine interest in finance given I don't have a finance undergrad degree.
Just out of curiosity - how did you end up being President of a finance club as an engineering major?
@ Mr.Hansen My school didn't have a finance major. All majors were science/IT/engineering stuff so my knowledge was much higher compared to others due to my stuff outside of school.
