Failed Series 86, Please Help!

Took my Series 86 last week and failed it. This is my second time taking it, and I was close to passing but just missed the mark. Have been using the STC materials, and have done well on the practice exams but feel like there is a big disconnect between the exam material and STC material. Any advice on how to score higher is much appreciated. Also, if anyone knows of private tutoring services that are useful, please pass along here. Thanks!

First time I took 86 (and failed) I was scoring 85%-88% on all STC final exams and had taken each two times. Second time (passed) I was scoring minimum 95%+ on all final exams. Process was final exam 1-5, greenlight 1-2, and repeat until I consistently scored 95%+ on all. You need to take more final exams and score higher. Also - UNDERSTAND don't memorize. That's key. Best of luck you got this

Thank you! I saw that you posted about the Knopman Marks material on another thread - did you find the videos helpful (or supplemental to the STC material?). Thanks in advance

I found their videos a bit more engaging than STC but overall not much more helpful. Their formula sheet and key topics were the most useful imo

formula sheet for Knopman was more helpful or STC's formula sheet?

I take it in about a month for perhaps my final attempt (missed last attempt by 1 question) Anyone have tips for the most recent version of the exam? I’ve been just rinsing and repeating the practices tests on STC
