Has your Analyst ever called BS on a Company?

Recently started on a sell side research desk and was wondering if anyone's lead analyst calls bullshit on management when they're selling nonsense/ adjusting the shit out of everything.

Would love to hear any stories of a confrontation or how those interactions tend to go.

SS for two years - heard some tense interactions on earnings calls. Tends to be more common in smaller/midcap stocks where there is more management BS...probably asked a few somewhat antagonistic questions on earnings calls myself (maybe not intending to but I struggle managing my tone sometimes). Depends on the analyst, but it's literally your job to ask tough questions.

Stacey Rasgon (Bernstein semis analyst) had a good thread on twitter about this topic a while back.
