How Much do IR People Get Paid?
Put this in ER forum since outside of HF, AM, IR is the third most common exit.
How much do IR Professional's get paid as their career progresses? Are there certain companies/sectors where they tend to get paid more?
I have seen everything from $120k-$450k depending on seniority. But interested in more educated people's thoughts.
There’s a lot of careers within international relations bro be more specific.
IR = Investor Relations
Yeah, I know. Stupid joke, guess no one liked it.
A friend of mine when into IR and from the looks of it he doesn't clear six figures, but I never asked him to his face.
Another random data point is a friends mom was head of HR (one below VP who sits on the board) at a large Asset manager. I figure that she was around 200K and I know the board member/Head of HR was over $1mm.
I thought it will be generally less than ER, for better work-life balance?
