I think it depends on sector. I cover oil and we are hiring at the moment. Some Tech verticals on the other hand have 10+ person teams at my bank which is HUGE for ER. With deal flow/IPO market down, would think layoffs have to be coming there
Sheesh, 10 people is a lot. They better be covering 80 names.
Can echo the above— at a top bank and we have around 10 people on a tech team as well. We have quite a few roles to fill and have been hiring... research seems to be pretty safe for now
10 people you mean 10 analysts? or do 10 include both analysts and associates?
