industry selection interviews
Hi everyone,
I’m joining a BB ER team this summer for full time and have an interview super day with the various available industry groups. These interviews would be to determine which industry I would get rather than if i get the job. Others will be interviewing as well and both the groups and us would rank our preferences.
I had a couple questions pertaining to that:
What should I be expecting in terms of interview questions? What would be best to specifically prep for or focus on?
What would be the best questions to ask to gauge what my experience would be as a associate on the desk (i.e. understand whether the analyst/team would be good to work for).
What would be best to prepare for the stock pitch in terms of which companies to pitch? Should I have companies to pitch for each industry I interview with or general companies that may not be specific to their industry. I assume I don’t want to pitch a company they already cover?
Any good questions to ask to impress the groups? If I see I specifically like a group, any suggests on how to wow them or ensure they pick me?
What would most groups care about when picking an associate?
Any specific industries to shoot for or avoid? Anything I should know or be careful about before the interviews?
I know this is quite a bit, so I appreciate the help and time
Thanks!
