JPM military pathways equity research

Was wondering if anyone has any experience going through JPM military pathways equity research interview process? I am currently I guess you can say round 3, I was given hirevue and then received a phone call to talk more in depth about myself. Was told I would receive another call soon. Did the last two rounds of interviews consist of technicals? Any excel test? Did you actually get placed in the equity research role? Side note, what is the salary like for a first year equity research analyst, well associate since its backwards in ER? Glassdoor tells me at JPM its over 6 figures, just want to know what number I should have in mind when they ask whats my desired salary. Thank you in advance.

Hey Logistic Joe,

I’m a vet in an Ivy League MBA and interned at a BB in ER and will be going back. Are you coming from undergrad or MBA? Undergrad comp, including signing bonus, is roughly 95-100k maybe a little more or less depending. MBA all-in comp will be around $175-185k. I had a mini- earnings blast excel/ write-up thing where I had to pull some numbers from an earnings release and do a few calcs then write a blast. Nothing too bad. Let me know if you have other questions.
