Optiver Grad Equity Analyst Technical Interview
Hi all — I’ve finished the OA and submitted the case for the Optiver Grad Equity Analyst role. I’ve been invited to a technical round with a member of the Equity Analyst team.
For anyone who’s done this round recently:
- What did it focus on besides discussing the case and resume?
- How deep did the accounting/valuation go (DCF, three-statement linkages, WACC/TV, leases/SBC/revenue recognition)?
- Any market views/catalyst discussion, quick modeling, or mental-math exercises?
- Did you get any brainteasers/trading-style questions?
- Format and time split?
Any do’s/don’ts, sample questions, or prep tips would be super helpful. I’m a student and keeping details light here, but happy to DM if more context helps. Thanks and good luck to everyone interviewing!
