Does anyone know the reputation of SIG Equity research? They're primarily known as a market maker/quant firm, but is their equity research department good? Do they have well-respected analysts? How do they compare with BBs and other boutiques? Are their guys sharp?
I heard they also underpay their employees, but I don't know how widespread this is.
