Stock Pitch Competitions
What are some notable undergraduate stock pitch competitions that are held on a national level? Anything like the Ira Sohn Idea Contest would be helpful.

Seeking Alpha oftentimes has undergraduate stock pitches. I think it is a good starting point to practice generating investment ideas and coherently present them
The CFA Research Challenge is a rigorous one, you would need to have a faculty advisor along with a group of 4-5 students. Basically creating a 10 page sell-side report on a company that is assigned to your region. Then you compete and pitch on a local level with the top teams moving to the national level, and the top teams from that round moving to the world level. Very challenging but the work is definitely applicable to the type of work you would do in ER.
