Fortunate enough to land a Credit Research analyst role for SA 2020 at a BB in NYC. Was wondering what the rankings are for credit research in terms of exit ops/prestige/pay among BB's/EB's/MM' etc. The role is basically ER but for Credit, looking at corps, govies, CDS's and other Fixed income products.

Firm overall ranking is less important than team. Ranking. Does II survey credit Research teams?
On II they are top 5. Not sure what team/ if there are teams? Maybe it might be a generalist thing. Just kind of wondering how credit research in general is viewed, compared to equity/IB. My end goal is an HF, preferably global macro as my background is mostly in global fixed income.
