does it make sense if we create a TorontoOasis forum? I know we are a small community in here but I think it would be interesting to have a TO-focused conversation,

The name of THIS site definitely isn't "NewYorkOasis" or "ManhattanOasis" so you should probably name your site or group "BayStreetOasis" if you're really trying to go for the parallel structures here.
