What's the latest on Wolfe?
Title. Had a lateral interview for Wolfe in mid-Dec - seems like they're crushing it in II and have some really sharp analysts. Anyone with more experience with Wolfe? Culture, comp, associate experience etc anything is helpful
If it’s the HC services analyst, run far away.
Reasons? I also applied to Wolfe.

They are killing it in TMT especially software
If your definition of killing it is having had almost all buys on a bunch of stocks that are down 70% ytd
don't talk to them for their ratings. You clearly are not on the buyside if that's how you judge sellside shops quality.
Few months back heard pay was under market. The associate I connected with said he was underpaid and was in a sweat shop. He also said it’s a great stepping stone place though, since he did learn a lot. Just expect to have your exit plan 1 year in.
It’s a sweat shop for juniors but you get to work with some top notch analysts. Only seniors and maybe some experienced senior associate that lateral in get paid well.
Applied for a posting and then I saw the salary was 65,000 for a first-year associate. The associates are very underpaid there

FWIW, I talked to Wolfe's recruiter 10 months ago and he said "expect about $100K all-in the first year"
Edit: Not sure why this is getting downvoted. It's the Jesse guy at Wolfe that fills Associate positions. Don't shoot the messenger, just noting what he told me.
