Where to find free ER Reports ?

No longer in banking but would still love to look at Equity Research Reports.

Is there any website where I can access for free?

Mostly want this for personal investing, I wanna read up on some companies I’m interested in buying into.

Based on the most helpful WSO content, here are some ways to access free Equity Research (ER) reports:

  1. Google Search: A simple search for the company or industry you're interested in, combined with terms like "equity research report," can yield results. For example, searching "Deloitte Utilities equity research" might lead you to relevant reports.

  2. Investor Relations Pages: Visit the investor relations sections of the companies you're interested in. These often include analyst presentations, earnings transcripts, and financial reports, which can provide valuable insights.

  3. Brokerage Accounts: Some brokerage accounts offer selected equity research reports to their clients. If you have an account, check if they provide access to these resources.

  4. Public Resources:

    • SEC Website: Access financial reports and filings for public companies.
    • Consulting Firms and Government Agencies: Firms like Deloitte or government agencies like the EIA often publish industry-specific reports.
    • Non-Profit Organizations: Institutions like the IMF or universities may release well-researched publications.
  5. Financial Websites:

    • Google Finance: Great for quick charting and market summaries.
    • Yahoo Finance: Offers tools for financial headlines, stock prices, and APIs for data integration.
    • Seeking Alpha, YCharts, Finviz: Provide summaries of financial ratios, comparable companies, and other useful data.
  6. Networking: Reach out to analysts or professionals in the field. Some may be willing to share older reports, especially for small-cap companies.

  7. Bloomberg Terminal Access: If you have access through a university or workplace, you can pull ER reports directly.

  8. Podcasts and Blogs: Platforms like Bloomberg Surveillance Podcast or industry-specific blogs can provide commentary and insights that complement your research.

These resources should help you gather the information you need for personal investing.

Which brokerage account has good equity research reports? / is there any way to know what they offer before committing to user a brokerage? I currently have a generic diversified portfolio for my investments, but I'm looking to start picking some stocks for a small bit of my equity investments
