I see a lot of designers and brands (Ralph Lauren, Hart Marx, etc.) making single vent suits. I understand that they are cheaper to produce, but are they becoming okay to wear in a professional setting? Want to get some opinions and see if anyone sees people wearing them often.

More important than the vent is the way it fits. If they are mass producing them they probably wont be a good fit.
Some people at my office use them, especially in some more casual looks and MDM suits.
Only horse riders should wear single-vent, IMO. Maybe you could get away with it if you never sit down, but that’s not gonna happen.
