So Eton, the Swedish shirt maker, has just released a shirt whose price is linked to the NASDAQ index.

I never thought that my wardrobe needs more exposure to equities, but what do I know?

That's a cool idea, but doubt it's good for business because COGS are so high for the shirt and it sells for nothing (compared to all the other shirts selling for $300-500).

Seems like a $150 shirt that people will buy just because its come down 15% from its high and will go up in value eventually so its at a discount. Cool marketing but still a no from me even if I was in the market for $250 shirts

Light vomit from the bull and the bear stitching ugh... there is no reason at all to wear a shirt with that unless you're overtly trying to signal that you work in finance, let's be honest.. even if it was a gag gift, it's like when would you even wear it?

The only difference between Asset Management and Investment Research is assets. I generally see somebody I know on TV on Bloomberg/CNBC etc. once or twice a week. This sounds cool, until I remind myself that I see somebody I know on ESPN five days a week.
