I really don't think there is anything wrong with them personally but for that same 500 bucks, there are certainly better options.

I have one. Very slim/modern Madmen wannabe look. Wore it to an interview bout 2 yrs ago thinking I'd look all trendy and shit, looked like a boob.

Since then it's been converted to my party suit, aka if I need to wear a suit to an event where I know I'll be wasted and probably trash whatever I'm wearing. They're really flimsy and I've have to get the stitching repaired multiple times. Also if you're bigger in the shoulders or fat the slim fit makes you look like fucking weirdo.

All in all, I've gotten plenty of wear out of it and think it's a solid purchase. Wear it to the office maybe once a month just to change it up.

J Crew suits actually are pretty decent for the price. The fabrics are sourced from Italy and the fit is pretty modern. Well, when I say modern, I guess I mean not the typical boxy fit you'll get from most off the rack suits. As Stringer Bell already mentioned, don't wear the slim cut if you don't have the proper build.
