Advice on career path

Hey everyone,

So I'm currently at a crossroads with my career and not sure where to go so looking for some advice. I've spent about a year in IB in a well respected coverage group at a good bank but the culture in my group is toxic/bad learning opportunity. I would like to clarify here that i am going to leave my current group at the end of the summer NO MATTER WHAT. I have an offer to join a LMM PE firm with a good culture with the biggest downside being the deal size is tiny (15mm EBITDA). I also have an option to switch groups at my bank to a debt product group in a role that exposes me more to public markets and the macro climate and the culture is much better. My career goal is to eventually get to a macro hedge fund or at least a L/S equities fund that has a macro tilt. For anyone with experience what is the best path here. Thanks.
