Cut from MMHF intern program

Looking at programs like P72, return offer rates aren’t the best. Where do the kids who are cut from these programs generally end up. Presumably these kids had other offers and were sharp during recruiting but ofc full time recruiting is a different story.

From CAP, 2 ppl ik of went to top group at JPM. From Point72, 2 ppl are going Warburg FT. In the past, P72 has also had kids go Bain and Apax FT (which doesn’t exist anymore afaik). Idk about any points of P72 going banking but maybe someone can chime in here

Were the kids from CAP/P72 without return offers and scrambled after or were they actively recruiting prior to internship end?

For WP, it was a months long process beforehand so yes they were recruiting. Idk about the IB ppl, they came from targets so they prob had a good network already, and IB interviews are probably not hard for kids who can get CAP.

Not sure what P72 was last year but historically have heard from 60-80%. For CAP I heard similar at like 75%. Someone can check me on these numbers.
