Diligencing a HF employer

Hi Monkeys,

Looking for advice or relevant existing threads on evaluating a HF as potential employer. Sorts of stuff I am thinking about: LP base and capital duration, performance, conversations with sell-side and sales guys that know them, conversations with past analysts that have worked for the senior PM.

Would you add anything to the above? Or conversely, does inquiring about any of the above seem inappropriate?

Thanks all! TS
