From Expert Networks To HFs?
I have a mechanical engineering degree and I joined an expert network directly out of college. I was basically helping clients understand what kind of insights they were looking for and the expert profile that would be a good fit, I would then screen the experts, and lastly I would review the call to make sure the expert wasn't giving inaccurate insights to the clients. I don't know anything about finance but I understand really well my industry, specially after being involved in thousands of calls. Would becoming a consultant for institutional investors in my field make sense? Not on a full time basis but maybe like once a week they would book a call with me to discuss industry developments and new technologies for example?
Thanks
Senior Consultant in Consulting, pure crickets, that's where I come in. Any of these useful?
