IB v HF

So I’ve seen a lot of people say top PE > top IB > mm PE, but what about HF?

Ik MM HF has a more meritocratic system than IB but in itself causes volatility due to returns. Would it be more reasonable to just do IB + PE stint and recruit for a SM HF?

What are the so called exit opportunities of MM HF if one were forced out?

yea ive seen out of ib from top shops like GS JP EVR and smaller lesser known SM out of undergrad, just don’t know if it’s worth to go to a place that isn’t known or possibly isn’t reputable
