Incoming Intern: Resource to better understand macro events and how they affect investments in credit
Will be interning this summer at a credit shop. My undergrad is not in economics, and I would like to have a better grasp of macro policy's applications in the markets (in the credit markets in particular). Ideally this wouldn't necessarily be an entire textbook, but rather more of like a primer or summary type situation. Thank you in advance for any reccomendations.

I'd highly reccommend that you take Portfolio Trading Masterclass and/or the Portfolio Trading Forex Masterclass by the Institute of Trading and Portfolio Management.
It gives you some excellent building blocks for understanding the business cycle.
Lehman has a great Credit Derivative primer that can be easily found
Lol
As long as it's not one from AIG, we good.
