I'm coming from somewhat of a unique background that's not buy-side but very closely working with market data. My career interests are in the buy-side as of now and have been thinking about lateraling into low-latency and mid-frequency HFs or prop shops - as Quant Researcher, Data Scientist, or something similar.
What are these shops looking for in a lateral hire resume? How can I excel at interviews?
