Some annoying written questions then send in a model/one pager, then phone call, then recorded video telling them why you're a good candidate. Didn't hear back after the video. I didn't really learn what they do but at the end of the phone call I got a rapid fire sales pitch which I sort of tuned out to be honest. Only part I remember is the founder has some really great connections and they turned down lots of capital when starting. AUM when I interviewed was ~200m, Google search shows they're up to 400-500m now.

Any advice on what to study for a call with them? Would really really appreciate it man

Their 13F doesn’t reflect their true AUM because they do a bunch of wonky crap that doesn’t get filed. Closer to $1.5-$2B at this point and’s turning down capital. They’ve supposedly returned mid-teens every year since inception or something, including last year, so they’re clearly doing something right.

Biggest concern working there is the culture. They’re nerdy guys that love investing more than anything else and it’s about 99% of what their lives. You’ll probably be working some banking-like hours looking at some random company in a obscure foreign country. But, it’s probably a good experience for an intern.

I get it, thanks so much for the input man and I would love if you had any advice on how to prep for these types of interviews. Once again thanks for the info man
