No job offer after quitting without anything lined up... should I be concerned?

Hi all,

I recently left a MMHF pod due to my PM's behaviours towards me. I had only been with the fund for 6 months when I asked to be moved to a different pod with no luck given there's only one other pod trading the same asset class. I knew it is not advisable to quit without anything lined up but my PM did something that really crossed the line. I did report the behaviours to HR and got some severance for that. I am now ready to move on to my next role.

However, the situation has been more difficult than I had expected even if I only look at the sell side. Before MMHF, I spent 4 years at a BB. I noticed that my skills are extremely non-transferable and unless the job is my specific asset class and specific function, I usually won't get an interview. I tried other HFs too.

Unlike others I saw on the forum, I only get into one new process every month on average (6 processes so far as I started 6 months ago. 3 rejections already). I suppose this is because IB skills are more transferable than S&T skills, but at the same time I am very concerned as the potential job pool is so small that I might not get into many new processes in the next few months. My severance will run out in 5 months. Very anxious about not having too many interviews.

For people who have gone through the process, I'd really appreciate if you could give me some advice. Is one job per month a warning sign? Are there other things I could do?
