Prince in need of an advice for universities

Hi I am a gap year student who got into several universities around the world and want to know, which ones are best suited for recruitments and making connections at Hedge Funds, Investment Banks, and Private Equity operations (I love Hedge Funds the most, but Private Equity operations are a close second).

I got into UT Austin (Econ), Georgia Tech, King's College London, UW-Madison, Bocconi, Penn State, American University in Washington D.C, and Boston University.

I am most likely going to UT Austin, but I would like to know if you have any advice on what I should do.

I am quite young and any advice would be liquid gold to me.

You couldn't go wrong with UT-A. Personally know of people from there who ended up at Citadel, P72, D.E. Shaw, Maverick and a couple more firms. I wouldn't necessarily discount BU though, they have the Boston advantage, saw on linkedin and have friends who have been hired or given internship by Boston HFs, and HF space in Boston is booming.

I hate when kids, who have no idea what HF is, says they want to work in HF just for the sake of it

What the fuck is the title of this thread? "Prince in need?" Do you refer to your username in the third person always?

Out of that list - Bocconi will place much better in London than any of those colleges in NY...
