single manager - stigma?

Is there a stigma against SMs (especially growth SMs) these days in the HF community? bad returns, ride beta, poor understanding of data/analysis in lieu of stupid mental models and crap. Why would a MM hire someone who was a sr analyst at a tiger cub instead of an MM analyst who can actually make money

This was a thread made by you a while back complaining about this thread being MM trolls: https://www.wallstreetoasis.com/forum/hedge-fund/why-is-75-of-this-foru…;

and now you are probably the biggest MMHF troll we have. I'm guessing you started a few months ago when you broke in judging by your post history. Its so bizarre that you broke into HF from PE/IB max a year ago and are now a die-hard pod troll lmao.

Can YOU make money? If we're being deadly honest, there's only an X amount of seats at MLP/Citadel and maybe P72 that are outright better than quality SM funds. The rest suck, are ok or are subjectively better. Unless you're printing $$ for 3 years+, you don't really have any right to claim which is better, you don't have enough experience to.
