Thoughts on Millennium new internship program?
Does anyone know what the process will be like (more technical vs. behavioral) and if it is meant for current sophomores or juniors?

Program Structure:

Interview Process:
This program is a great opportunity to build a career in hedge funds, offering exposure to both research and trading. If you're comparing it to programs at P72 or Citadel, Millennium's structured approach and direct PM placement stand out as unique features.

I’m a junior but shifted down so I could apply for this. Had online behavioral assessment
Probably worst of all big 4 MM because they have no experience running their own grad scheme - not sure whats happening to the FT UBS program but heard not great things
Attended their info session. People can choose to select two of equity, macro, commodities, and credit in the application. The FT Equity Analyst program is still there as well.
anyone know what the interview rounds look like? Is there case study/technicals?
Did a first round interview with a quant/trader. Fairly standard behavioral, walk me through your resume and follow up questions about my experience. I interned at a prop shop so his questions were related to that experience. Then he moved to market based questions, what is going in the world right now that you are following. He kept asking follow up questions on my opinions of those events. Something I wish that I could've done better was be more prepared for the follow up questions. It was 50% background and technical skills you have and 50% market based questions.
Why track did you choose?
Can only speak for what I hear from the UK side:
Millennium do their best to provide the relevant training and reps (they do collaborate with UBS ER via a secondment arrangement for equities and non-quant stuff) but you're immediately thrown onto the desk after that finishes and the environment can be tricky to navigate especially as you haven't been given much rope to navigate the vertical you are assigned.
I've heard in EMEA the culture is good but mixed bag from what I know.
From a friend: UBS is super chill, but felt unprepared on desk - got good PM though so worked out
Had OA then was emailed to schedule first round
Anyone done the case study after the first round interview? interested to tb it
Just PM'd you
Any updates?

Any offers out?
Yep
Got one for FI&Credit; might be cooked if you didn't get it
