All Financial Companies Are Overvalued?

Hey everyone,

So I'm a senior at a non-target who is an Equity Analyst in our Student Investment Fund for the Financial sector. My classmates and I manage a few million dollars of our endowment, and we are heavily underweight in the Financial sector right now so I need to pitch a new stock to buy. I have been screening for a stock to pitch for the past week and have yet to find a company that I can get an intrinsic value above their actual market value by running them through my Residual Income and DDM.

We can only invest in large-cap US stocks in either the Russell 1000 or S&P 500. We already own C, JPM, WFC, and PNC. I wanted to pitch either an Asset Management or Investment Bank, but can't seem to get an attractive return.

Does anyone have any advice of a company to look at? Or is the entire industry just overvalued right now considering almost all financial stocks have skyrocketed this year? Also, if anyone wants to share their insight about value investing or investing in general with me I would greatly appreciate it. I haven't valued companies before this semester, and my professor basically gave us a little advice on working on a Bloomberg Terminal and then has been hands-off ever since.

Thank you in advance!
