Is the EU obsolete?

I don't mean the EU as an organization, but all the EU countries.

Their population is miniscule (barely more than the US) and their birth rates/population growth is basically negative in real terms.

Their economic growth has flatlined in real terms too, and the entire EU has been surpassed in nominal terms by China (who has a tiny nominal GDP because of artificial currency devaluation).

The EU's aggregate military can barely keep parity with Russia, who has a relatively small nominal GDP.

The EU has just lost its crown jewel economy and soft power provider with Brexit.

Most of the EU doesn't even speak the old lingua franca (English) or the current lingua franca (Mandarin), making trade and workforce mobility to superior economies difficult.

Has Europe lost all soft and economic power and will soon become a playground for China, Russia and the declining US' proxy wars and trade wars?
