Want to get some opinions from other people
- MM
- Associate 3
- TC (225+150), 375k (2025)
- TC (200+110), 310k (2024)
- TC (175 + 100), 275k (2023)
- Did MBA, prior was working in consulting at Accenture/Deloitte/PWC
- Hours: (80-100)
- Slightly disappointed given overall WLB --- lean team/constant pitching --- is worse than what I have heard from my peers at other banks. Feels like TC is considered slightly below street but grouphead told me this was in line with the street, so created this poll to see thoughts from other bankers.
Feel free to type your general thoughts here.
Relatively wise, I think u r undercompensated. At my boutique, Assoc 1 clear around 300 TC with just 70 hours at T2 city
Name if you feel comfortable sharing?
What type of MM, group, etc?
Big difference between Stephen’s and Blair.
Boutique-style MM in T1.5 city (LA, Chic, SF) , average deal size around 500 million, lean deal team.
Comp is around street but your hours are above street
Datapoint for you:
EB assoc 2 - mid 400’s TC in a similar city as you describe for the past yr
