I think tier F needs to exist just to accommodate the female bankers at Moelis as well as males too. Ken's wife would have at least been in the tier A but the bankers are quite opposite of that. Maybe their large cap deal flow would have been better if they took some female bankers from PWP or LAZ to improve the banker profiles for the bake-off.

Moelis is one of the last few shops that resisted charity hiring and promotions for women.
They do have "diversity bonus" for EDs and above who promote diversity. Don't know what that means though.
