2027 SA PubFin/ Public sector IB

Just got rejected from JEFF with no interview even with referrals. I had a referral from JP Morgan but I heard they capped the intern class and the posting being up doesn’t matter. I did the test for JP Morgan and video interview. For barc they had me do the assessment (behavioral not hard). I had a first interview but still haven’t heard back.
My questions
1. How many interviews does it take to get a super day for both BB and MM?
2. Why is there a massive pay gap between JP Morgan which posts 110-130k base vs piper sandler 80k. Is it possible for MM A2A transfer to BB?
3. For those in Chicago and Ny do get pinged by MM/bontiques or PE/credit. What are the exits for VP/Ds
4. As most firms have the PFIB desk on the same floor as M&A and traditional is there any cross collaboration on P3 deals and has m&a needed more man power where you work on a proposal with them
