Depends on where they interned. If 1 IB = BB, then 1 IB is better by far. If all 3 IBs are boutiques, the 3.9 would probably have a slight edge thanks to a higher GPA. But at this point, both profiles are strong on paper. Networking is going to be the main differentiator 

 

Will most likely depend on fit. When both are qualified really just comes down to fit and how the convo flowed. I feel bad sometimes when we cut kids who had good backgrounds and did well in the interview but there are only so many spots. When there's "ties" we usually just go off fit and who we enjoyed talking to the most. Also might help if x candidate networked with like 4 people at the bank and maybe the other one just dropped in resume to OCR resume drop or something like that
