A girl on tumblr wrote a guide on targetting different types of bankers for money....

I follow the investment banking and economics tag on tumblr for study notes and stumbled upon this post. I thought it I'd post it on here for reference for people of all levels. I can't post links but if you search said tags those on tumblr the post is still up and it led me to a whole community dedicated to targeting different bankers (from analyst to M.D level) for money. I'm very shocked at this.

Copied and pasted below::

The SD Wealth Scale Example: Investment Banking

So I had a good ask about what I mean when I said the wealth scale. The wealth scale is how you can determine how much someone SHOULD be able to AFFORD and where they fit in your hustle.

As you know we have two hustles:

a) Sugar Dating

b) Spoiled Girlfriend Dating

Now you meet a sugar daddy who claims he can’t do allowances; and can only take you to nice hotels and dinners and buy you gifts . hmmmmm.

My key focus has always been bankers, traders, venture capitalists, hedge fund managers and all things finance so let review the payscale that someone successful in a front office revenue generating division at an investment bank or hedge fund SHOULD earn. I’m more shit with medical but finance is me. Fucking bankers is my ‘thing’, you know.

Level 1 - Analyst : When a person first graduates from their Ivy league and walks into Goldman Sachs they are called analysts;. Whether they are mergers and acquisitions analysts, equity capital market analysts, sales and trading anaysts they are analysts.

Salary: At firms such as Goldman Sachs Analysts at age 22 fresh out of college earn about $60,000/£40,000 BASE. Bonuses vary but usually $40,000ish (my friends got that). Let that sink in.. There are 22-26 year olds on Wall Street making $60,000-$100,000 a year. Let that sink in because it will let you realise that requiring a lot from a man in his 40′s is nothing. There are 24 year olds on Wall Street earning 6 figures okay ?!

These men will eventually become V.P&’s and M.D's if your goal is to live in Chappaqua and have a Hampton home and be a house wife TARGET THESE MEN. DATE THEM SERIOUSLY AND AIM TO BECOME A WIFE. You have no reason to even sugar if this is your goal. FOCUS ON MEETING THESE MEN YOUNG. These men will get you nice presents and gifts, dinners etc but no cash.

Level 2: Associates & V.Ps: This is the stage after business school. Most men in IB will work for a few years, go to business school them come back and work as associates and eventually V.P’s. Most of these men are between 27-37.

These men earn a good 6 figure income, the best of them are usually married at this point to their hunnie they met at business school or whatever. But many are still single.

These men are only 27-37 which means you can find a 32 year old to give you a pampered girlfriend lifestyle. I always say if my goal was hotels and dinner I could find a banker in his 30′s; and THESE are the men I am talking about. I meet so many.

If you aren’t focused on the cash side of things but more want to be SPOILED. THESE. ARE. YOUR. MEN. They are young, hot and RICH. They’ll show you the luxury life, treat you well but they are usually at the stage where they don’t give big allowances. If you are single you also have the chance of MARRYING one. These men are the GOAT. THE top. The best. Because unlike daddies the chances of it leading to marriage (i.e more $$$$ is far higher). They are more attractive also…

The downside is these men are usually not online so you will meet them via freestyling or via a matchmaker. Many men at this stage want to settle down so often seek help of high end matchmakers….

If you want more info on matchmakers…tell Me. I could write a post…

Level 3: MD.s & Partners: If you meet a man who claims to or as an investment banker , is in his 40’s and says he earns $150,000 RUN. RUN. RUN.

Any investment banker worth his weight earns between $3000,000-$500.000 atleast a year by his 40’s! This is where you can catch out A LOT of these frauds.

Being named partner at a top firm means a $900000 salary, before bonuses. LET THAT SINK IN.

I am a lot more strict with men in their 40’s and 50’s because I KNOW that by 40 a man who claims to be a sugar daddy/successful SHOULD be earning a certain amount. NO if’s not buts. If they are not successful then they have no place trying to be sugar daddies.

These men have the most disposable income so aim for as much as you can get but just always remind yourself that you could date a 30 year old for treats and & nice hotels. These men if they can be bothered CAN afford to fund your tuition (the whole reason SA was created!), your plastic surgery and rent. Be TOUGH on these men.

While you can be soft with the younger ones BE TOUGHER with these men because unless they are FRAUDS. THEY. HAVE. MONEY. And unless you have a genuine silver fox fetish and really just like the guy try and get as much you can from these older men.

If you meet a man who earns $500,000 a year expects you as a 22 year old college student to fuck him for free and prove yourself to him all for dinner and a few hotels trips and drops the ‘not an ATM’ line remind yourself that you can date someone YOUNGER IN HIS TEAM if all you want is some shoes, mmkay ?!

They are grown enough to act accordingly.

I personally do not have a silver fox fetish, my favorite men are men in their 20′s and 30′s. So if I am having sex with a 50 year old banker he MUST give me something a 30 year old banker can’t give me.

This should be a legit hustle.

If your goal is never to work a day in your life, get married and pampered but not get cash aim for analysts and associates. If your aim to to save for that business, school, get ya rent pain blah blah partners and M’Ds and don’t let them even try and play the analyst role. They can afford otherwise.

Warmest,

Thotianna

Stay awake WO'ers. This seems to have become a 'thing'

I am almost positive this post was made by somebody in IB (or likely somebody in college) pretending to be a girl. This "girl" is way, way too specific on different groups, levels, salaries, culture, etc. - Girls (especially gold diggers) don't listen to any of these details even if you do discuss all of these things with them (Pro Tip: Bad Idea). If you ask girls that are dating bankers what their boyfriend does, the response would probably range from "ummm, some finance stuff" to "hes a banker" with nowhere near this level of knowledge anywhere in between.

They're an army of professional gold diggers and the response you just gave is probably their goal and how they're able to get away with tricking bankers into they're a lot more intelligent than people expect. This is specifically why I posted this as the 'bimbo' dumb gold digger stereotype I once thought has now advanced. The gold diggers to look out for are the smart ones now. The dumb ones are actually harmless compared to these girls. If you google 'tumblr sugar baby' they are a whole community dedicated to how to pretend they are genuine to target men of all levels (particularly banking). for different purposes.

As I'm a woman I don't think 'male gold diggers' exist to this degree.

This is so disgusting. I understand if you are successful or are working towards your goal and want a man on your level but trading sexuality for sheer money and nothing else to me just isn't virtuous.

I don't know how smart men fall for this when there are so many smart women out there. You can tell as these girls will be willing to offer or pay for your expenses and dates or her share of expenses. Relationships are not a take-take-take or give-give-give but a mixture of it

I don't see anything redeemable about marrying a rich man. I see something redeemable about these girls becoming or ascertaining to work hard and be rich women themselves through their own effort but seriously dating is a hobby. Dating is supposed to be fun and enjoyable to learn about the other person.

It is not meant to be a "hustle".

What I call hard work is presentation-making, opening and deal closing, vociferating market terms and what will be in store through analyzing concepts. Getting yelled at, and constantly reading for leads which pretty much generally summarizes every professional on wall street. The true hustle.

very.chipper:

Exactly what I was going to say. This line alone has a lot of terms that I would never expect a finance gf to know: "front office revenue generating division at an investment bank or hedge fund SHOULD earn"

I basically stopped reading there. I know finance majors at my undergrad that do not understand these terms (yes I realize how bad that makes my UG). No way a gold digger, no matter how good, picks up this knowledge in passing. Even if she did, theres no way she would phrase it this way - reads exactly like a "How do I break in from a Non-Target" thread on WSO, would be shocked if it wasn't the same demographic behind both.

Controversial

Bloomberg wrote an article on them if you want more information. Google 'bloomberg sugar babies'. Yes, although it might seem outlandish golddiggers are now online, women are smart, and yes they write detailed guides for themselves on various social media sites. Knowing the in's and out's of an industry isn't hard for 'girls' by the way (tad sexist). My boyfriend is a law student and I have in-depth knowledge of things legal because I have a boyfriend I live with tells me about his life and picks up on things. Unless you are in a relationship where your girlfriend stays in the kitchen all day chances are you will discuss your work with her so a woman isn't a dumb plank who can't know information about an industry she isn't in. If I were to date a banker this information could be picked up easily if he liked to engage in that sort of 'pillow talk'.

I found your comments very sexist js909. You seem more concerned that a 'woman isn't capable of writing that' than the content and topic of the thread itself. Shocking.

I think you underestimate gold diggers. Anyone who makes money in "sales" or similar activities such as gold digging learns the ins and outs of the target industry.

Also keep in mind that high grade gold diggers are VERY good at what they do. Particularly in places like LA or NYC a lot of them will be capable of estimating how much your outfit costs in the blink of an eye. Believe me when I say they know how much different suits, watches and shoes go for in stores and they've figured out how much income you have to be earning to afford your outfit before they even talk to you. If you aren't above their preferred threshold then you probably won't even notice them evaluating you.

Folks: Like I've said before don't expect money or "prestige" to make you successful with women. You either grow some balls and grow your game or you're going to find a gold digger sucking your wallet dry.

Guys fall for this shit, all the time. If they simply said no this house of cards would collapse quick, fast and in a hurry. Like seriously, if you are going to be an ATM to a woman why not just get high end hookers? At lease you won't have to listen to their inane conversations or deal with their equally retarded 22 year old friends.

But props to the flake that wrote the article. If you're a 40 year old guy creeping on 22 year olds and you think the game is about true love you're an idiot.

Too bad guys don't ask out the smart girls often though. Like I said in another thread, stop going for basic B*tches and go for the lawyer types/Amal Clooney. Date a girl that has and is use to money. We won't have this problem.

Greed is Good!

Best Response

it'd be pretty funny if there was a site similar to WSO where girls write stuff like: "How I went from 10 rejections to one dream sugar daddy", "Acing the first date with an Investment Banker", "Life after sugar dating - the suburban roads", and "15 things I wish I knew in my first sugar relationship"

Do you people really think that women are incapable of knowing what "front office BB" means? Anyone who spends anytime with an investment banker, especially one that works for a BB, will know what that term means (they make sure you know how prestigious their job is).

I mean, you really have to be an idiot to think that only investment bankers can understand this term. This is probably why these parasites latch onto you fools. Wake up.
