Advanced modeling books

Group doesn't do much modeling.

Finished Rosenbaum & Pearl book.

Any other recommendations?

Anything industry specific is fine too.

Would prefer operating modeling and M&A modeling materials, ones that actually build models, not Damodaran styles where you "sketch" a "model".

I’m really looking to part 3 of their most recent thread on PMO/Operating Model, but they haven’t posted in a while.

The website says the contributors are current analysts/associates. Hope they’re doing alright and not just getting worked into the ground so much they can’t focus on the website.

When I started my career Benninga had a good book for modelling in excel. Not sure if he has updated it, but it will give you a deeper look into models and specific modeling issues. Beyond this, the usual analysts courses from banks have one or two modules on modelling, which are quite well explained and relatable to the overall work in m&a as an analyst (3 statement, DCF/LBO, merger etc). Unfortunately, I can't remember the name of the provider who held our course. I'm not sure how good are the models from WSO, but probably also a good source of knowledge. In addition, I'd recommend macabacus , which has an extensive library of topics and examples. Good luck, please post if you find any other good source (share the wealth!).
