AI Tools like ChatGPT or Copilot
Do you use AI at work in any capacity, such as for proofreading? I’m just curious about how firms differ from one another. Do you use any internal AI tools, such as Copilot?

Based on the most helpful WSO content, AI tools like ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot are increasingly being integrated into workflows across various firms, especially in finance and tech-related roles. For example:
Proofreading and Writing: Tools like ChatGPT are being used for tasks such as proofreading, drafting emails, and creating reports. These tools can save time and improve efficiency, especially for repetitive or low-value tasks.
Data Analysis and Automation: Microsoft Copilot and similar AI tools are being utilized to automate tasks like pulling financial data, creating models, and generating presentations. For instance, GPT-4 can automate up to 55% of coding tasks and even handle natural language commands to perform actions in Excel or PowerPoint.
Internal AI Tools: Some firms are developing or adopting internal AI tools tailored to their specific needs. For example, Bloomberg has created BloombergGPT, a large language model trained on financial data, to provide accurate and up-to-date information for financial professionals.
Compliance and Adoption Challenges: While the potential is significant, some firms face challenges in adopting AI tools due to compliance and legal concerns. However, as more firms successfully integrate these technologies, others are likely to follow to remain competitive.

I use copilot to turn excel spreadsheets into python objects/sql queries
Also use it tidy up any VBA I write
Can your IB department also use Copilot?
Bump
I use this which is insanely fast/faster than anything else I've seen: https://ninetyfive.gg/
I work in VC and startup land and have been using TinyDash to build data dashboards - you can also do quite a lot with ingesting PDFs. For example, we were tracking a tech company's financials and just uploaded all their quarterly docs. Worked like a chat app! Happy to share if anyone wants access. But again, +1 on Claude for proofreading and long doc search, Gemini is much better for calculations and maths, ChatGPT is great for stylistic changes and reformatting.
